I have a 1975 Pontiac grand Prix the brake lights don't work but the blinkers and running lights work

Either the brake light switch down on the brake pedal arm or a brake relay in the fuse box. Check the fuse also.

I had looked at the fuses looked like it could be it the dome light doesn't come on either, if I lift the pedal would I be able to see the switch?

The switch will be mounted to a fixed point and the brake pedal arm movement will actuate it. It could either be out of position and not actuating or has gone bad and needs replacement.
