Convert standard non-pulse wipers to pulse wipers - 76 Grand Prix

Asked by TommyTommyTommy0777 Aug 30, 2020 at 09:21 PM about the 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How difficult is it to change a regular standard non-pulse wipers to ,pulse ?
I know for sure that the wiper motor needs To be switched and also the switch
Is it that simple or is there more involved?    I tend think there might be an
additional wire.    Has anyone ever done this and can *give me some direction.

Neither the motor or the switch are what makes pulse wipers pulse, although you may need those parts as well. What you really need are the electronics that tell the wipers what they are supposed to do. With the entire system in hand you may be able to convert the wiper system in your car.
