I have a 1972 LeMans Sport with the GT option that includes a 3 speed hurst shifter on the floor and a 350 2 barrel carb. How many LeMans Sports were built with the GT option?

My car is a 1972 Lemans Sport with the Hardtop Coupe option and the GT option. It has a 350 with a 2 barrel carb. The GT option includes a Hurst heavy duty 3 speed floor shifter, body side stripes, duel exhaust with splitters, colored side mirrors, and a GT decal on the trunk. The Sport option includes bucket seats, and a sport steering wheel.

Just from Info on the internet I have found out that 7,825 LeMans GT's were made in 1972 with the 350 and 2 BBL. Of these 3,096 had automatics and 4,729 had the 3 speed on the floor like mine. I still need to find out how many LeMans Sports there were with the GT option.

I had a 1973 lemans gt with a 3 speed in the floor. Loved that car wish I had it now
