There were no convertables offered after 72
Thanks. I just bought one today. The owner said that its the only one that they made in 74. Even the ownership says 74 LeMans. I goes I have to check it with GM and ministry. Thank You very much.
What country are you in? The information you're looking for should be on the door jam or there abouts. Look for theManufacturer Build Date. But remember, many cars were built before the model date. Example: 09/73 could be a early 1994.
74 LeMans was chopped in a shop, never made in the factory that way. Does it look like they did a good job. Did they teel you where they got rubber seals. So you can get new ones when they start to leak.
Chop shop piece of art! 72 was the last year for that body in a convertible. For 73 the whole car changed and no convertibles were offered from that point forward. I know, I was trying to buy a 72 before the ones in stock sold. I settled for a 73 sport coupe. Nice car but not a convertible.
