A/C Fan Inoperative

    My A/C fan will not come on in any mode. I have a 2005 Avalanche 1500 with Dual Automatic Climate Control. Two Days ago as we were on the highway, I engaged the A/C and it seemed everything was fine. The next day I turned it on and the fan would not come on. When I hit the A/C button, I can hear the compressor come on and  when I switch from dash outlets to dash/floor outlets, etc. I can hear the 'flapper' move, but no fan. I have checked the front climate control blower fuse in the underhood fuse panel (it checks good). ANY IDEAS?

does the fan work on any speeds?

it could be the blower motor resistor has shorted and burned the resistor itself and possibly the connector.
