My 2007 Buick Lacrosse airbag light is staying on. What
could be the reason for this.

There is an error or fault in the airbag system. Either an airbag sensor itself is faulty, the wiring or an airbag itself. You will have to have a mechanic scan for the airbag code to find out which circuit is giving you the error and offer a repair.
