Is it an automatic or manual transmission?

If it's an automatic transmission, you'll have to put it on a Dolly.

IT is an automatic trans.i know there is dolly and dinghy.I am trying to find out if it is safe to tow my Pontiac g6 without damaging the trans.And which is the safest way to tow.

If it is up on a Dolly platform and all four wheels of your Pontiac G6 is off the ground, YES, it's no problem...

Just make sure that you don't exceed the towing capacity of your towing vehicle and that you have coordinated electric brakes , that car weighs how much.. Listen, a Class B Sprinter 3500 can tow 5,000 pounds and some of models can tow up to 7,000 pounds.. I don't think that your Pontiac G6 weighs more than 5,000 pounds, does it??

What about my 07 G6 HTC with the 3.9. Anyone know. I heard not d/t a different transmission. No flat tow, only dolly tow.
