Why is my 2007 pontiac grand prix temperature going up

I just changed my engine and now the
temperature of my car keeps going up and
back down when the heaters on high...what
could be the problem?

Check the coolant level and purge air out of the system. You may also need a new thermostat.

either your heater core is sludged and clogged causing a leak, or its bursted, if you have floor mats in the passenger seat move it to examine the area for water being dumped from the core underneath the passenger side dash
