Whats wrong with my pt cruiser?

I have a 2007 pt cruiser and while I was driving it, it turned off. I was able to
start it again and it continued this for a ways and then I had to have it towed
back home. After being home for a few hours I went out and tried to start it, it
started right up, sounded fine and stayed running for about 10 minutes then
turned off again. What could be the problem?

When it stalled and you couldn't start it again did it turn over and just not start?
It would start back up and then die again while I was trying to get it home. But after a while it just died and wouldnt start again but it would turn over and try to. Now that its been sitting it will start right up again but then die...??
Maybe clogged cat. My truck did that something. It would stall going down the road and sometimes I could put it in neuter and fire it, other times not. Sit for a bit and off I'd go. Hope that helps.
