I left Lubbock Texas with all the chain almost new life short of 1300 miles I'll give me 20
changed and then I took off without change tomorrow cuz I wouldn't do for one yet when
the man said I had to change my oil at 3000 miles or 3 months and you're the one who
came first cuz I drove to Savannah Georgia to see my little sister and I'm already almost a
couple hundred miles over what they recommended I should change my oil that should I
change my oil before I go back or should I change my oil when I get back or should I not
use my old at all I don't want to mess up my vehicle by changing my oil too much

3000 OR 3 months. Which ever comes first. Couple hundred miles over or under won't hurt but just make sure you check the oil level to make sure it's still got the proper amount in it.

I am replacing the timing chain and gears on my 96 GMC 1500 5.0L. 305 if I want to change the cam should I do all of it a the same time. I am also going to replace some of the gaskets to hopefully get a few more miles out of of the motor that has 400000 miles.
