what is the ETA. on the removal of motor on a 2005 chevy impala ?

You mean time required to just pull the engine? A good mechanic , hustling, with all the right tools, maybe 6 hours. Strictly a Guess. With two guys working together maybe even 4. A mechanic in no hurry all day ... I could find no book time for that

I did find book time to R&R engine, (Remove and replace) is 22 hours. But putting the new one in takes longer than yanking the old one. So I might be close... maybe a bit on the fast end. 8 hours? No more than that
