2005 Malibu won't start

I'm having the same problem you are I just went out and bought a new battery thinking that was the problem. But I install the battery and it still won't start. I don't know if the anti theft system is engaged? It just doesn't make the clicking noise like you think if it was a starter. But now I'm thinking it might be the starter or the ignition system? Did you have any luck with yours?

It's a recall on that, mine is doing it also but I found a way to crank it up every time, it's hard to explain I would have to show you under the hood, but if you can put your car in nutural it will start right up in that gear
