I have a 05 mont caro with a 3400 motor in it can i take that motor out an put a SS motor in it?

Of course! I as well have the LA1 (3400) I don't have the funds for a swap so I'm just lightly modding the one I got. SS Motor as in the 3.8L? I have slight mods into mine and its now faster than the 3.8's. If your going to do a swap, go for the L67 (3.8L supercharged). Grab the PCM and harness too.
