towing capacity for fith wheel

16500lbs (ext) and 16000lbs (crew) That is with all the right stuff. But most places recommend 12750lbs for the ext model and 12000lbs for the crew. Mostly these weights are because it will out-weigh what your licence is good for. A basic class (G in Canada, not sure what it is in the states) is good for a combined weight of 24450lbs, if you go over that weight there is alot of fines and possible auto being seized. And that figure of 24450 is truck, trailer, passengers, gear and fluids (gas, oil etc.) So if you are diving down the road and get pulled over by the MTO (in Canada) or the DMV, and they weigh you right there, and you are over, you will be in some trouble. Sorry for the long post, thought that I would cover most the the areas.
