1998 Toyota 4Runner motor transfer to 1997 Nissan Pathfinder

Asked by GuruS36ST Jun 23, 2019 at 02:02 PM about the 1997 Nissan Truck

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will an engine for a 1998 Toyota 4Runner bolt up to a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder
transmission? Or do I need to place transmission also from Toyota into the
Nissan? If so, will they bolt up to the Nissan?

In theory you could if you can fabricate motor and transmission mounts and do a lot of other custom stuff. The cost is not worth it and you would have trouble finding anyone to do it no matter how much you paid them.
