what is the square device behind the passenger side kick panel?

Asked by reh030516 Feb 09, 2016 at 07:26 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Blazer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I connect the battery, I get a strong spark and I hear what sounds like a relay energizing.  The battery runs down without starting it for several days.  I pulled all the fuses from the panel trying to locate the problem.

The pcm should he under the hood unless they moved them in the later years. The transfer case module is there, is your blazer 4x4?
