I am working on the same issue with my H3. Ive done similar things, but I can't seem to fugure it out. I am concerned that changing the brake switch is a waste of time, but I will try it tomorrow. let me know if you figure it out please. I will do the same! Good luck.

The dealer finaly found the problem , it was the body control module , but he had problem to program it , because I had install a bluethoot and a remote starter , so he had to disconnect them to program the b c m , now I need to pay again to have them connected .

Have same problem! change the paddle switch? no change? ordered ABS censer switch for rear park, signal & brake. see if that solves the problem.
