Heat hand raising

Asked by James Jul 13, 2017 at 04:55 PM about the 2006 Hummer H3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

During driving heat hand a little above half way. Turn engine
off place switch in on positron heat hand goes up

1 Answer

This is kind of normal for the H3 in warm weather. The outside heat is partly to blame. When running, the fan, radiator help cool the temps. Once stopped, nothing is cooling it so the temp will rise some until you start vehicle again. I have had same issues in summer months for last 2 years. Not a big concern.
