I have a 04 cavalier the pins popped out couldn’t
get them back in I got a used column do I have to
put my original ignition in the new column?

I found out that when you replace the column without changing the black ignition box on the side you have to reprogram the computer it’s a 30 minuet process turn the key on turn the engine over once let it sit for 10 minutes turn the key off for 5 seconds repeat two more times then car will start
