Open Door Light

The Open Door Light is on all of the time and the dome light will not turn off automatically.  Where are the door sensors located?

the door ajar switch/sensor is integral to your door latch. You will need to remove the door panels and isolate which door latch is the cause, once you find out which one it is, then you need to change the latch assembly. i've included the picture of the drivers door (from GM service manual) and here is the list of each part. (1) Door Lock Switch Connector, Driver (2) Power Mirror Switch Connector (3) Power Window Switch Connectors, Driver (4) Outside Rearview Mirror Connector, Driver (5) Window Motor, Driver (6) Speaker Connector, LF (7) Door Lock Motor Connector, Driver
