My power steering is leaking fluid. Really leaking. Took it to a shop and they said one hose $130, the other hose $186, but total bill estimate $925. Any thoughts?

I picked up the car. I just keep adding fluid so I can drive it on a limted basis. But they
charged me $70 to get my car back. I feel this is crazy. I did get the proposal and plan on
giving it to another shop on Wed, but I would like to go in with a little more knowledge.
And yes, I am a single mom....fish bait!

I would take it to another shop and get a 2 nd estimate that price seems high to me

power stearing hose is cheap u got two of them high pressure and low low pressure is just rubber hose sold by tge foot ten bucks mabey the high pressure is meatal line witch is around 30 or 50 dollars labor on that couldent be more than a hour there bullsh@ting you sorry to say also dealers are the worst place to take your car unless its under warranty

I have a Kia that has started making a hard knock noise fro the left front area of the car.I had shops put it up on racks, and NOvody can seem to find whst is causing thst loud "clunk" whenever I hit any uneven spot in the roadway. I have a 2014 Kia Rio LX. It starts perfect when cold. I parked it for about 15 min's. came out & if wouldn't turn over. Turned the key and nothing. I did it 5-6 times & it started. I checked the battery & it is showing 13.1v. Terminals are clean & tight. I did remove them & clean the post, even though there was No sign of corrosion.
