Ignition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just got a new ignition however we stopped at a rest area left the key in ignition and now
we can't turn the car on.  The key won't go back or forth

Wiggle the steering wheel side to side while trying to turn the key. Be careful and don't break the key off.

Was the ignition switch replaced because of that recall? There have been a few posts here about dealers botching the recalls- poor GM- they seem to try so hard-
