changed throttle, spark cables oil gaskets, new filters and new sensors. runs
great but now exhaust fumes smell rich in gas and have explosions like when
sparks are faulty. No idle problems not hesitation on engine but a little drop on
revolutions less than a line in the tachometer....help

So it is running rich- this is an old car- hard to guess but you mentioned changing the sensors? What sensors?

You might need a good mechanic, a REAL good mechanic to figure out your computerized classic-

Gracias everyone!!!! Sorry for the lateness but was in surgery 2 weeks ago coming about now. I have a good mechanic that had serviced this car since i bought from new. We had changed every little module, filters, oxygen sensor, lcv, spark plugs, distributor, sparks, ECM, throttle, u name it the smell of bad mix gasoline won't go. It runs great and the hesitation went away but Man! that stench....he is mentioning the Catalytic?
