Caused by the high crown of the A post arch, a design flaw! Turn up the radio is all you can do.

Sounds like Toyota, I had to sue them to take back my camry, I called my brother, (he works for a large Toyota dealer here) He said the the 07 and up Highlander has the wind noise. Now you only will notice it after you buy it, as most of the time the dealer comes along and you are only out for a short time, So now that you bought it and are suck with it, Your options are really limited, You can "tape" the top of the pillar, or you can contact Toyota Corprate. Take the truck in as much as you can, and to few different dealers, explain the problem and get a "print out" of the work order, My brothers dealer just bought 3 of them back (Lemon Law). With Toyotas growth, (in my opinion) they have said "screw you" to their customers, My brother also reports a large drop in happy customers, you can take that how you would like. But if after a few times of Toyota not being able to fix the noise, you will have the copies of the work orders, you might be able to get them to buy it back, for that you will need to talk to a "lemon law" lawyer. But before you go and do that I would try another dealer, but as alittle mentioned, it is a design flaw. The noise is from the top of the windshiel and/or around the door seals/trim gasket. Some people that I have seen have taped over the area until the noise went away, dosent look pretty but you wont "drive" yourself nuts with the whistle. Sorry about the long post, just trying to get enough info it here. best of luck.
