Why Won't My 2004 Chevy Venture Start?

Asked by DavidEvola Sep 04, 2015 at 09:19 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Venture

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm having the same issue as a lot of people. Van was running great, no issues,
the, I stopped at the store, went in, came out, and when I tried to start the van,
nothing happened.
All I get when I turn the key is an almost inaudible click on the interior of the
vans dashboard.
I replaced the starter and the starter relay and still nothing.
All other functions work...electric windows, lights, fuel pump.
Nothing wrong with the battery.
Can someone please help me to find the problem?
Thank you!

The Chevy Venture has had allot of problems with the electrical system. First take a look at the ignition coil, security system will some times acted up and I would also look at the ignition switch. I have also heard of a corrosion under the seat and there is access to the wires under the car... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2El9nxcsyOc
