smell rubber burning

when i drive for a distance, the right front of my 2008 smells of burning rubber,
any ideas?

Better park it and turn engine off and check the serpentine belt. If there is evidence of damage, you should remove the belt and check ALL pulleys rotate freely. Consider that the A/C compressor has locked up. It comes on with A/C and Defrost functions. With motor off, you should be able to rotate the CENTER hub of the compressor by hand easily. Good Luck.
