I got a problem with my Audi A4 CVT 2005.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The PRNDL lights on and  reverse is not working.  The Diagnostics  showed the fault
code 1706. It means the TCM is defective. The Dealer offers me the replacement of unit
for unreasonable price.  What do you think about repeir ? Possibly somebody knows the
services that can completely restore the TCM

Have found Module Repair Pro in Van Nuys CA. Checked on yelp. Perfect customers review. I spent about one hour and got my car back.. And it cost less then I planned. PRND is not flashing anymore.
