Thank you I will do that for sure. I really want this car I just don't want to make a mistake by buying it and having it break down because of miles

Douglas can't even punctuate a sentence; are you going to trust him on a major purchasing decision? Any car is going to require a lot of maintenance with that sort of mileage on the clock, and tennisshoes is correct about Audis in particular. An A4 is not a rare car; you'd be better off finding a less-used example for a little more money up front.

an audi that makes it into the higher miles actualy ussaly indicates its a good car. I have owned audis for a long time now and i can ussaly solve any problem faced at me. any car you buy will have a high cost for repairs it all depends on what was done and at what time. for istance this car has a timing belt if i remeber correctly as the chains were only issued on cars past 2008. asking when the timing belt was last serviced would be my number one concern as this is the place you make it or break it. if this is a dealer selling the car and they don't know ask them to do the timing belt service before you buy it other wise you are looking at a 1400$ service. and judging by the miles it was likely due for one at 180000 km. so there is a good chance it was recently done. Having an audi specialist shop to take a good look over the car first would be a rather good idea as a place to start. I know hwne i bought my 98 audi a4 i am a mechanic myself and i bought it for 1100$ in 2010 and only put 300$ into it for two whole years before issues started.
