how do you remove the radio??

Asked by medic646 Jul 11, 2007 at 03:43 PM about the 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the older model Fords you needed the removal tool butin the new ones there appears to be no tool holes so how do you remove the radio?

1 Answer

Not exactly sure about that car specifically, but on most of the newer cars the plastic radio casing is now held in by plastic clips. Usually you can use a small flat head screwdriver to gentle wedge in there and pull the cover back until the clips release. You may want to give a quick call to the Ford Service dept to be sure.
