03 chevy cavalier rpms drop when driving to zero have to wait a few minutes then it will start back up and go about an eighth of a mile before dieing again

I'm thinking fuel pump, but that's just one of hundreds of possibilities. If you can limp to the AutoZone or similar, get your OBD codes read, write them down and bring them back here, before you buy something you may not need. Myself or one of several fellows here will help you
