why do I have gas mixing with oil in the crankcase? Its a 2003 cavalier

Asked by Wildcat_man Apr 07, 2014 at 11:52 AM about the 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car smells of gas terrible. I went to change the oil because I thought my car just needed a tune up but that wasn't the problem. I notices I was going through gas quickly and my car was running bad. When I went and changed the oil, gas and oil poured out of the crankcase. What would cause this to happen? How do I fix it?
