My 2002 Express 3500 Diesel is having the same issue. It continues to shut off at 60 mph and I will lift my foot off the accelerator wait a couple seconds, watch the oil pressure gauge come back up and it's running again. Sometimes I'll need to put it in neutral and re-start it without any trouble. If I hold it at 59 mph it will just keep on motoring down the road without any issue. Also when pulling away from a stop when it hits 30 mph it will shut off as well. Just before I hit 30 mph I'll let my foot off the accelerator let the transmission shift then get back on the accelerator to increase my speed. I believe it's rpm related but there isn't a tachometer in my van to know at what rpm it's shutting off at and only a turbo charger code is being stored due to it stalling out. I have replaced the PMD and still have the same issue. One shop has said that they think the liner in the fuel tank is falling apart. They found some stuff in my fuel filter which kinda looks like fine sand and feel that when the demand for fuel can't be met it causes the engine to stall. I think I'm going to try replacing the tank cause it kinda makes sense that if it can't get fuel it won't wanna run. If anyone has found a fix please post it here. I'd really appreciate it.

2002 Express 3500 6.5 TD Update #1. Replacing the fuel filter revealed small silver flakes in the fuel which is the coating peeling away from the inside walls of the tank. I replaced the 30 gal tank along with the sender/pump assembly and flushed out the fuel lines. Stalling issue still not resolved.

2002 Express 3500 6.5 TD Update #4. Just to say I did, I replaced the PMD once again! This is the 4th time since buying the van back in 2004. I did relocate the mounting location years ago. Stalling issue still not resolved. Now I have an extra PMD in the tool box.

2002 Express 3500 6.5 TD Update #5 is a charm. Short and quick answer to the NOW resolved stalling issue. Drum-roll please... The 60 second fix was tightening a loose ground at the battery that's located under the van; the negative battery lead was slightly loose at the frame rail attachment end. After spending weeks driving it around while it continued stalling out, removing the engine cover, all the under dash trim and all the hours spent tracing wiring ugh... This loose ground connection then started causing a slew of other things to not work normally such as the oil pressure gauge bounced just a couple of times, security instrumentation lamp came on, the headlamps were a little dimmer and the air conditioning, windshield wipers, power window and door locks all started working intermittently which lead me to into looking into the vehicles grounding system eventually leading to the repair. I also found that the wide braided engine ground strap was also partially broken. This is located behind the vacuum pump on the right front of the motor going from the engine block straight down to the frame rail. Hope this info helps someone. I sure wish this info was posted somewhere before I had my problem but still I'm happy to have contributed and at last kicked the gremlins out of my van for now. With a fair amount of money invested and a whole lot of time spent; all was cured with a half a turn of a wrench.
