Thanks. I suspected that as well. I noticed from forums that this is a common problem in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and can be fixed via glove box without removing whole dash but, do you have any idea if this would be possible on my 08 Jeep Liberty??

Flushed out heater core with air and water (together). 80% improvement. Good luck!

Had the same problem, lost heat on driver side in 2017, jeep liberty 2009. I had the heater core cleaned by professional radiator shop. 95$ and now burning heat both sides. Exactly like a new. I will have it cleaned every 3 years.

No heat issue on driver's side of 2012 Jeep liberty, both hoses on the heater core inlet and outlet are hot. I discovered that the blower housing in behind the glove box has air filters known as compartment air filters. There are two of these filters in the compartment access door. My filters were extremely plugged. When i replaced the filters it resolved my issue.I hope this helpful.
