Hook it up to a diagnostic computer, it will give you a starting off point for your fault isolation.

yes check engine light is on. I did have a friend hook it up to a diagnostic computer...11 codes came up...most where plugs. so i starting there.

If most are spark plug related I would check deeper into the ignition system: HT leads and coils might be the next suspects after the plugs themselves.

I just had my head gaskets replaced...Im wondering if that anything to do with this sudden mis-firering???

Not impossible, a lot of things are removed and reinstalled to get the heads off, so a lot of things can get messed up along hte way.
