Car troubles help car dies without warning.

I have a 2003 impala, it will drive for a bit,engine dies without
warning,no lights come on,usually starts rite back up.I'm
stumped,any one with ideas,a fuel pump put in about a
yr,ago,air filter replaced,even was told it was gas cap.it
wasn't.

Visit your local Chevrolet Dealer about this. Your Impala is involved in a recall involving the ignition switch. Apparently the ignition switch can move on it's own do to the normal vibrations from driving and shut off the engine without warning! They'll fix it for free under the recall! Hope that helps! Jim
