What was the reason for changing alternator and battery?
If they are all out, it is probably the switch on the pedal linkage or a fuse in the fuse panel (under the dash).
Question is, why would the brake lights suddenly not work after a battery and alternator replacement? Could be a fuse, could be the brake light switch or something else.

Whenever I have to slam on the brake, the red brake light comes on while I am braking and then when the car comes to almost a complete stop, then it turns off. Why does it keep doing this?
