Nissan Altima slowly accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has recently started acting up. When I press the gas
pedal it barley moves for a little while then out of nowhere it
revs up and works until you stop then it starts all over again.
There are no check engine lights on and I have checked all
the fluids and everything is fine in that area. My car starts
perfectly and doesn't make any strange noises. Does anyone
have any idea as to what the issue may be?

Mine was a sensor that was malfunctioning. A “stop light motion” sensor I think is what it was called.
