How do I turn off my air bag light

some options...you can buy a airbag reset tool from chinasinoy.com or 1. U need to unplug the Air Bag Connectors under ur seat. There are a couple connectors under the seats so u need to know which one is it. Raise the Driver seat to the "highest position" (this will help u too see it a bit easier), look under it and there are 2 connectors, 1 is for the Seat Belt and 1 for the Air Bag (which is the yellow one) Unplug it and the Passenger seat has 4 connectors, u just need to unplug the same one. IT IS TRICKY to unplug it, take ur time, u have to pull the clip all the way back before u can unplug it. 2. Remove the Negative on the Battery just like how u reset the car normally. Wait 20 minutes then put the Negative on the Battery back. 3. Turn the car to "on" position. 4. Plug both of the Air Bag Connectors back in.

You don't say exactly what this issue is or what year your car is, but my 2007 had a recall over a serious safety problem which manifested in seeing, as I recall, the "airbag is off" light. It is a safety issue--they had to replace my passenger seat twice over it. The sensor is faulty and doesn't sense a lightweight person in the seat. If your car is of that era, I urge you to visit the NHTSA website. This is the link to my recall https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2007/HYUNDAI/SONATA/4%25252 0DR/FWD#recalls.
