Hyundai Sonata

Asked by Kim May 30, 2017 at 04:02 PM about the 2008 Hyundai Sonata

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata that I have had for 5yrs. I
love it & have never had any mechanical issues.
However, on two occasions I have been either stopped
and attempting to accelerate or driving slowly & attempt
to accelerate and the car sounds like it is stuck in gear &
is restrained from increasing speed. The first time I
thought the shift got knocked into neutral, but it was not.
Also, the second time I heard a sound  mid car, that I can't
really explain.
What is your thought on what may be wrong?
Thanks,
Kim
