Question type: General

Just today, I could not turn the ignition key on my 2008 Sonata. I tried turning
the steering wheel to the right and left and at the same time, push on the brake
pedal. It's still not working. Then I release the release the shift lock. Put on
neutral and turn the steering wheel but it's still work. This is the first time it
happen to me. What's the problem?

I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata 3.3 litre as well Replace the ignition switch. The switch wears out and the copper contacts break inside the switch. Check youtube for switch removal and reassembly
