Is there a way to unlock the trunk without the fob?

Don't think the Lucerne had a key in the rear........push the button in the glove box.
If you locked your keys in your trunk and your doors are locked once you open the doors the security system kicks in the button in the glove box won't work.the only way I know how to do it if the doors are locked an the security system takes over is the pull up the back seat in remove the trunk relay out of the fuse panel. There are four holes that you can take a wire and an wire it to your positive on your battery and stick it in one of those four holes and it will open the trunk. The alarm should go off in the trunk should open.
Find the dial that adjusts the brightness of your control panel. Underneath that is a button - push that - it should be your trunk release!
2008 Buick Lucerne the trunk will not open wood remote auto push button inside what do I need to do
2008 Buick Lucerne the trunk will not open with the remote auto push button inside what do I need to do
I have a Lucerne 2007 and the way I opened the trunk without a battery, was to drop open the rear seats cup holder middle arm rest piece , and find the tab to slide down. Once the lid pops open u can stick a pole I. There and use the Manuel emergency trunk rescue handle in that’s always of a neon green color.

After trying to unsuccessfully unlock my trunk with the fob and trunk button located in the glove compartment I tried bamming on my truck by the latch, since I had an equipment bag filled with working gear in it that pressed at the door latch. I managed to jostle my gear loose from around my trunk latch. I pressed the fob on the key chain and it opened.
I had this problem with my 2007 Lucerne. I let down the rear seat armrest and opened the access door. Then, I used a 4 foot long wooden dowel to pull the manual emergency trunk release. Before shutting the trunk, I tied a braided nylon cord to the emergency trunk release and ran it forward thru the rear seat armrest access door. Then I cut the cord leaving about a foot of extra cord protruding from the access door in the back seat. Then I got a rubber pull handle from an old push mower and fastened it firmly to the cord. I snapped the access door shut on the cord leaving the handle and excess cord hanging down and closed the armrest. When I need to open the trunk, I let the armrest down, open the access door and pull the rubber handle. Easy cheesy. The only thing I would have done differently would be to drill a hole thru the access door, run the braided cord thru the hole.THEN fasten the rubber handle so it wouldn't be necessary to open the access door.
Mine doesn't have any way to pull the solid piece down to get into trunk. Can get it open. Not with remote or switch. Nor do the door locks work. When i push the button in the car to open the trunk and locks. There is a click under dash. But when i push the button to lock, no noise. Any ideas. I have already spend 1000 to have it fixed. They keep charging everytime i go in.
Any luck with this problem? My buck does the same thing.

button under dash light dimmer dial is the correct answer. Funny the manual says there is a button inside the glove box which was nowhere to be found on my 2008 cxl

have a lucerne...2007.... NO FRICK'n BUTTON or PULL in the glove box.. no "button" to the left of the steering wheel as some have suggested either. Trunk emblem is solid secure... can't be pushed or pulled as w/other buick's. SO...................little wonder ever purchasing another Buick is even a consideration. USA approved!!!!!!!!!! Gotta flat? Important tools, etc in the trunk? FOG GOES OUT? SHELL OUT big bucks and wait two weeks to get in your trunk. USA mfg/s always fascinate me. Not in a good way
