Car won't start on occassion

My 08 Lincoln mkz sedan sometimes will not start.
It has happened more frequently recently. What
could be the issue?

Have the battery tested. Also check all the battery connections for corrosion. The connections must be clean and tight. Check the battery connection to the starter as it must also be clean and tight. Check the ground connections. Check that the necessary relays are seated in their sockets and free of corrosion. Always start with the basics first.
