Turn Signals

Asked by Joshua Apr 24, 2016 at 11:36 PM about the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: General

I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500. I have LED
headlights and tail lights. When I signal to turn left
or right with my lights on, you can hardly see the tail
light blinking because the light doesn't shut off
completely it just flashes a little brighter. I'm trying
to make it so that when I signal with the lights on
the whole tail light flashes on and off. Any
suggestions?

I don't know the solution but some strange things happen with LED bulbs....the old incandescent bulbs had a filament that drew current, that current heated the element in the flasher and caused it to cycle. You probably need a different flasher for the LED bulbs.
