how can i find out if this car has a factory alarm installed in it. it has a little alarm above the master cylinder

do you have the push button lock-unlock on the key chain that came with the car,if so,if it has a red button on it,it has factory alarm.if it dont,look in fuse box under hood.look inside cover all fuses & relays are numbered and tell what is what,if none are labeled alarm sys,then no.
