How to fix C0561 and P0404 error codes for Chevrolet Equinox 2008 ?

I know little about cars. Please help me find out what is going on and how to
fix it. Error codes: C0561,P0404

Check the EGR valve check the connector and the Valve, EGR is a Common FAIL on these...4.3 Equinox. Regards

P0404 CHEVROLET - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Open Position Performance... Possible causes - EGR volume control valve stuck open or closed - Faulty EGR volume control solenoid valve - EGR volume control solenoid valve harness is open or shorted - EGR volume control solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection - EGR temperature sensor and circuit.../...As far as I can tell, the co561 may be related to a ABS problem.
