Same thing happened to me at the airport. Car wouldnt start. Called AAA tried to jump it. No start but now the key was stuck in the ignition. It had been doing that occasionaly. The way to get it out involved turning on the car. Uhoh! towing the car turned out to be a real adventure. Since I was out of town, AAA recommended a repair place. It was 230 AM. Dropped it off. Had to rent a car. Called them daily-----not a clue what the heck was wrong. Finally, they replaced the TCM. $1300 for that little baby. Picked it up, stuff didnt work. Blown fuzes everywhere, radio aka Onstar. The car would start sometimes right away. Other times, had to wait til the gauges did their thing and were at rest. Took it to Chevy. Turns out the original guy didnt program the new TCM. Took Chevy about 15 minutes.
