Volkswagen New Bettle Headlight

I replaced the passenger headlight assembly and it is still loose. Is there a way to tighten the latch or lever? The headlight goes out with the slightest movement.

You may have defective headlight carriage. More than likely, you did not properly turn the locking nut to the lock position. Before that, make sure the assembly has been pushed back in place (no gaps along the perimeter).
