Back window out of track

Back window of a 2 door convertible Volkswagen
Beetle went out of track and I’m unsure how to fix
it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

door panel off, unbolt window sliders, reinsert window into rails and inspect for reason it happened. then re bolt replace door pad.

I have the same problem. 05 Beetle. It is a rear passenger window, and would not go up. It is not a door panel. Dealer said need new motor, and whole back of the car would need to be taken apart. Quoted $1,300.! i told them to forget it, and they got the window to stay up. But now it is down an inch, and I don't want to drive in rain.

Buy the part and follow this video. if this is a convertible or 2 door then you have a little more time on tear down. this video shows the two door tear down for the convertible. if you know how to use a screw driver this will be easy just follow the video.
