Gas Mileage

i just bought a 2008 g6.  It has 40000 miles. v-6  i have driven it about 400 miles and it only gets about 22mpg.  Not happy.   what is average with this car.

Thats about average. I have an 06 4 door v-6 and i get about the same. I drive about 30 miles to and from school, all rural roads so it's not a lot of stop and go. I have though gotten as good as 30 on the highway cruising at about 85 the whole way. From what i understand, the car gets better mileage on the highway than on city streets or back roads.
