When i start the car it idles to 3grand on rpm what could be the problem

Need to answer nismo's question so we can help. But likely vacuum leak
yes vacuum leak would be a top check also maybe an idle control sensor. The check engine light would give the answer. If you don't have a scanner Autozone or advanced can scan a vehicle for free
